NEMA members actively participate in downstream and upstream operations that collectively contribute to the business of our industry. The association’s two membership categories allow for a wide range of companies within the electro-value chain to benefit from NEMA’s expertise and influence.

Membership is granted by the NEMA Board of Governors, Executive Committee. 

Manufacturing Member Eligibility

We invite manufacturers who sell electrical products in the United States or have an electrical product in development to contact NEMA about membership opportunities.

Associate Member Eligibility

Firms or entities that do not qualify for full membership may qualify for associate membership. Distinguished service providers, essential allies, and strategic partners in the electro-value chain may apply. Types of providers include but are not limited to:

• Distributors & Logistics Providers
• Industrial Suppliers
• Electrical Contractors
• Certification & Testing Labs
• Software, AI & Technology Providers
• Business and Legal Consultants
