This product specification is intended to apply to Electric Motors, rated 600V or less, 750 hp or less. This product specification applies to both induction motors, and other commercially available motor types, including synchronous reluctance, permanent magnet, and switched reluctance types. If specified, Electric Motors are likely to be classified as "Manufactured Products" under BABA regulations (Code of Federal Regulations, Title 2, Part 184), which aligns with NEMA 70901-2024: Compliance with Domestic Preference Requirements.
