The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)’s EV charger guidance gives clear direction to businesses and provides the certainty they need to deploy infrastructure and create American jobs. S.J.RES. 38 would have reversed this momentum and rolled out the red carpet for state owned Chinese manufacturers, among others, to apply for and receive funds meant for domestic manufacturers. NEMA and our member companies commend the Biden Administration and the Senate for standing with American manufacturers and defeating this effort.”
