The Lighting Systems Shipments Index, a measure of demand for lighting equipment, includes the following domestically manufactured products: HID ballasts, LED drivers, lighting controls, LED replacement lamps, fixtures, emergency lighting, florescent ballasts, and large lamps. Product shipments data are drawn from statistical surveys conducted regularly by NEMA and are adjusted for inflation and regularly recurring seasonal fluctuations.
