T-LED lamp shipments posted a 6.6 percent year-over-year increase in 1Q 2022 compared to 1Q 2021. T12 lamp shipments posted a 13.8 percent increase in 1Q 2022 compared to 1Q 2021 while T5 and T8, lamp shipments posted a year-over-year decrease of 7.1 percent and 4.1 percent, respectively. The index also showed a quarter-over-quarter decline for T8 and T12 shipments posting decreases of 4.3 percent and 6.8 percent, respectively in 1Q 2022 compared to 4Q 2021. T-LED and T5 shipments posted an increase for the same quarter-over-quarter comparison of 14.0 percent and 4.4 percent, respectively

In 1Q 2022 T-LED lamps accounted for 33.2 percent of the florescent lamp shipments. T8 lamps accounted for 49.6 percent of 1Q 2022 shipments while T5 and T12 lamps claimed the remaining 7.5 and 9.7 percent of the market, respectively.
