High Performance Building Resources
This site provides NEMA Members with a single location to get up-to-date information to help Members develop strategies and tactics to sell more products into commercial, residential, and industrial building spaces. As a result of COVID-19, building use
has dramatically changed. Accordingly, characteristics that once defined buildings as high performing are changing as well.
Aspects like corridor spacing, ease of cleaning, adequate ventilation, and modularity are among the things that will increase in importance, while things like efficiency, will likely drop in criticality. Several leading building rating and labeling programs
have already begun updating their programs to incorporate this shift and expect others to follow.
