Connected World Conference kicks off in Chicago

1/22/2014 10:00 AM

Dear NEMA Member,

We would like to take a moment to reach out to you and share some exciting news. This year, we are supporting the Connected World Conference in Chicago, Ill., February 8-17, colocated with the Chicago Auto Show. This event has really hit home with us, as it focuses on the connected technology shaping our daily lives, and transforming how we look at electrical equipment, medical imaging, and more.

Being constantly connected, and harnessing the data that comes from that, can provide many opportunities―and challenges―as we navigate the road ahead. What the Connected World Conference provides is a one-of-a-kind platform for attendees to experience the technology, hear from those who are implementing it, and be a part of this movement. Case in point, just look at some of the highlights of this year's event:

A range of sessions covering the latest trends in the IoT (Internet of Things) world, including wearables, the connected car, the smart home, and more

The NFC (near-field communication) experience where tags will be displayed for attendees to tap for a more engaging visit to the show floor

A showcase of the innovators and universities that are currently working under the radar to change our world through the development of data-dependent solutions

As a member of NEMA, we hope you will join us in Chicago this February. You can register to attend online at  www.connectedworldmag.com/conference/register
