New Implementation Date of 2008 NEC in Colorado

After adoption of the 2008 NEC by the State of Colorado on May 19, 2008, the new effective date for the adoption of the 2008 NEC and amended rules has been moved to August 1, 2008 from the intended date of July 1, 2008. This change was implemented to allow for deadlines in the filing process.

Three areas in the rules were changed to reflect the new effective date as follows:

1. Rule 2.2 - adoption of the 2008 NEC

2. Rule 8.2 (d) - reporting convictions, judgments and administrative proceedings effective date

3. The Citation Chart effective date (updated fees)
