Introduction to IEC Training Modules
It has long been the case that the more information understood by a participant in the IEC Standards development process the more effective that individual can be. This ultimately means that there will be more US positions and proposals accepted into developing IEC Standards and that there will be fewer requirements of concern or conflicting with US practices. It is the goal of these training modules to arm the US participants with the knowledge to be effective.
Overview
These training modules provide resources that help Standards and conformity assessment professionals within the electrotechnical industry effectively navigate the myriad processes and procedures of international Standards development programs, primarily as these are related to work in the U.S. National Committee and in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). These programs do not include technical training or courses on specific Standards.
