CANENA:
CANENA (The Council for the Harmonization of Electrotechnical Standards of the Americas) was formed to foster the harmonization of electrotechnical product standards, conformity assessment test requirements, and electrical codes between all democracies of the Western Hemisphere.
CANENA Technical Harmonization Subcommittee (THSC) 20: Building Wire and Cable, is responsible for the development and maintenance of UL 83/CSA C22.2 No. 75/NMX-J-010-ANCE, Thermoplastic-Insulated Wires and Cables. Revisions to the first edition of this standard are expected to be proposed in the first quarter of 2006.
