Carestream Health Helps Chinese Government Expand Rural Healthcare
Carestream Health has joined forces with China’s Ministry of Health and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region People’s Government to establish a pilot digital-information network that will strengthen rural healthcare and promote the development of the rural economy. 16/11/07

ABB Wins Power Utility Contract in Namibia

Schneider Electric has completed the formation of a 50/50 joint venture with Delixi Group, following the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the satisfaction of other conditions. 14/11/07

Siemens Gets Rs 87-Cr Order from McNally
Siemens Ltd. has received a Rs 87-crore ($18-million) order from McNally Bharat Engineers Pvt. Ltd. for supplying electrical equipment for Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd.'s new sinter plant at Vizag, which will be commissioned by Aug. 2009. 13/11/07

Carestream Health and Collaborative Medical Technology Offer Innovative Digital Case Management Solutions

Honeywell to Buy Maxon for $185 Million
Honeywell International has agreed to buy manufacturer Maxon Corp. Maxon makes industrial heating equipment for an array of clients, including General Motors and Nabisco, with plants in China and Belgium and sales representatives in 51 countries. 14/11/07

Demand for Industrial Controls Continues to Rise during Third Quarter of 2007
NEMA’s Primary Industrial Controls Index registered a 0.6 percent gain between the second and third quarters of 2007, and rose more than 12 percent higher compared to the same period a year ago. In addition, the topline index surpassed the previous cyclical high set last quarter and has increased 32 percent since late 2003. 09/11/07
