ABB Wins Marine Orders Totaling $100 Million
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, signed contracts worth more than $100 million in September to supply Azipod propulsion, power generation, and distribution systems for four new vessels, ranging from luxury cruise liners to arctic tankers. 10/23/06

Eaton Awarded Two Additional Packages
Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation has recently been selected by Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, to provide two additional packages for its Phenom 100 very light jet program. 10/23/06

Emerson Process Management, a business of Emerson, recently announced that the company has been awarded a contract to provide PlantWeb® digital plant architecture and engineering support for the construction of multi-feedstock biodiesel refineries by BioSource America, Inc. 10/20/06

Schneider Electric Wins Order for 17 French Ships
Schneider Electric recently announced that its officials call the most important contract in electrical distribution ever recorded—a contract for 27 frigates. 10/19/06

Consorta Extends Two Contracts with Kodak’s Health Group
Consorta, Inc., a leading U.S. healthcare group purchasing organization, has extended two contracts with Eastman Kodak Company that will make KODAK digital imaging products available to 2,400-plus Consorta members through August 2009. 10/11/06

VirtuRad Signs Agreement with Agfa HealthCare
Agfa HealthCare recently announced that VirtuRad, a leading systems integrator and value added reseller of digital radiography equipment and services in the orthopaedic market in the United States, has signed an agreement with Agfa HealthCare to sell Agfa’s orthopaedic line of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), expanding the relationship beyond the current sale and support of Agfa’s Computed Radiography (CR) systems. 10/11/06

3M Acquires Developer of 3-D Imaging Technology for Digital Dentistry
3M recently announced that it has acquired Brontes Technologies Inc., a Lexington, Massachusetts-based developer of proprietary 3-D intraoral imaging technology for $95 million in cash. 10/17/06

3M to Acquire Biotrace International PLC
3M and Biotrace International PLC recently announced an offer to acquire the entire issued and future issued share capital of Biotrace International PLC, a Bridgend, UK-based manufacturer and supplier of industrial microbiology products whose shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange. 10/10/06
