Key NEMA Member Benefits in Energy Policy Act of 2005

After four years of effort, the House of Representatives passed comprehensive energy legislation, HR 6, on July 28, by a vote of 275-156. On July 29, the U.S. Senate passed the bill by a vote of 74-26. NEMA was instrumental in the crafting of a number of key provisions in the Energy Policy Act of 2005 that benefit electrical manufacturers.
