• Honeywell Helps Port of San Juan Meet Homeland Security Requirements

• Lincoln Electric Agrees to Acquire J.W. Harris Co., Inc.
  Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. has signed a letter of intent to acquire all of the outstanding stock of the J.W. Harris Co., Inc., a privately held brazing and soldering alloys manufacturer headquartered in Mason, Ohio. 1/6/05
• Rayovac to Acquire United Industries
  Rayovac Corp. announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire United Industries Corporation. 1/5/05
• Regal-Beloit Corporation Acquires GE’s HVAC/Refrigeration Motor and Capacitor Operations
  Regal-Beloit Corporation has completed the purchase of General Electric Company's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning/refrigeration motors and capacitors operations of GE Consumer & Industrial. 1/4/05
• Siemens to Acquire W-LAN Specialist Chantry Networks
  The Siemens Communications Group is expanding its product portfolio for business customers in the Wireless Local Area Network sector and has signed an agreement to acquire Chantry Networks. 12/16/04

• L-3 Communications President and CFO to Retire in April 2005
  L-3 Communications announced that Robert V. LaPenta will retire as president and chief financial officer effective April 1, 2005, and will also be leaving the board of directors. 12/29/04
• Vleminckx appointed Chief Financial Officer of Agfa-Gevaert
