Leviton Manufacturing Company was recently awarded Design Journal magazine’s ADEX Award (Award for Design Excellence) for its Z-MAX lighting control relay systems. The ADEX award is presented each year to recognize products of superior design used in the architectural and interior design professions. Products are selected from a roster of more than 1,200 entries by a panel of architects, designers, and specifiers nationwide.
Leviton’s Z-MAX relay systems comply with the U.S. Department of Energy’s standard that timed-scheduled systems of occupancy sensors be used in buildings of over 5,000 square feet to reduce lighting energy consumption. The line of Z-MAX relays is part of Leviton’s integrated energy management control offering that includes Leviton occupancy sensors, timers, dimmers, and photocells, as well as Centura daylight harvesting system and architectural lighting control systems for building-wide control.
