ENERGY STAR has agreed to accept the NEMA/ALA Platform Matrix in lieu of applicable lab test reports as long as the protocol detailed in the documents below are followed. EPA has reserved the right to request actual lab data for any required test at any time from any party. The fixture manufacturer is ultimately responsible to meet all ENERGY STAR reporting and documentation requirements.

This program will help residential lighting fixture manufacturing partners by reducing the administrative burden and testing costs associated with the ENERGY STAR for Residential Light Fixtures program.
