Federal, state, and local governments are major energy users.  Besides office buildings, facilities include hospitals, schools, and military bases.  Energy upgrades at government facilities can be handled through the budgeting process.  

Electrical manufacturers have worked to develop energy-efficient, environmentally sound technology solutions used by homeowners, businesses, and industry.   More efficient lighting and motors, as well as up to date heating and air conditioning controls, are only a few of the products helping to reduce energy consumption while providing the same or higher levels of output.
