Toshiba LEDs Recognized by Next Generation Luminaires
Corporation’s LED Lighting division announced that the
roadway luminaire has been recognized by
Generation Luminaires' Solid State Lighting (SSL) Outdoor Design Competition for ingenuity in lighting design.
The Next Generation Luminaire SSL Design Competition seeks to encourage technical innovation and recognize and promote excellence in the design of energy-efficient LED luminaires for commercial, industrial and institutional applications.
“Being recognized by Next Generation Luminaires is a great accomplishment,” said Tammy Impagliazzo, Director of Marketing for Toshiba’s LED Lighting Division. “The inclusion of our TLS-RTLM roadway luminaire is amongst several recent testaments to Toshiba’s commitment to innovation in the outdoor lighting and design space, and we look forward to continued leadership within the industry.”

The 2013 NGL Outdoor Competition judging event took place on Dec. 9-11 at Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. Winners will be formally announced at Strategies in Light on February 26.
