Graphene-enabled electrical products and systems, and their standards needs; Discussions about nano-contacts and nano-interconnects using graphene materials; and Detailed specification standards needs for graphene used in nano-inks or nano-printing applications (printed electronics).
This workshop will be conducted on Monday, October 15th. This is the day before the IEC TC113 standards committee on nano-electrotechnologies and its Working Groups and Project Teams meet (Oct 16-19, 2012). TC113 is focused on nano-electrotechnology standards for electrical and electronic products and systems. Recently, graphene-enabled products and printed electronics applications have become part of TC 113’s standards development efforts. TC113 will be drafting blank specifications for nano-inks and graphene-based technologies.
We invite you to participate to help us understand the standards needs for graphene-related material and product specifications. We hope to determine the key parameters that need to be defined and specified. Technical experts who understand nano-materials, -products, and -systems are strongly encouraged to participate. Additionally, we wish to have broad participation from graphene users, nano-ink producers and users, and printed electronics experts. Because we want to have many experts included in the Workshop, we will be running this meeting via webinar as well, so that travel will not be a barrier to your participation. However, we welcome your face-to-face attendance in California if at all possible.
